Light Up (by Sucre)

Here's the newest installment from Sucre.  It's a beautiful song called, Light Up.  The vocal track was a "1 taker," and they were lucky enough to capture it in the video.  Enjoy!

Hiding Out (Sucre)

Here's the first LIVE video from Sucre. I had the opportunity a little over a year ago to play violin with Stacy, Jeremy, and Darren. It's an amazing sound (especially around the 1:18 mark :-). I think you'll like it!

When We Were Young

It's been almost a year since I played violin on the live DVD with Stacy DuPree (Eisley), Jeremy Larson, and Darren King (Mutemath). It was quite the experience! They're super talented, humble, and very generous folk. So, if you haven't heard of Sucre, you need to! Here's their first video:

They Reappear

Here's the FINAL video from the LIVE DVD. It was such a fun concert/shoot that I'll never forget! It was a privaledge and honor to play with the talented Jeremy Larson, Darren King (Mutemath), & Stacy DuPree (Eisley & Sucre)...not to mention all of the other great string players!

Enjoy!

DVD Release (preview)

Hey folks,

Several months ago, I had the amazing opportunity to play violin for a LIVE DVD shoot, with Jeremy Larson, Darren King (MuteMath), and Stacy DuPree (Eisley). And after some time in the editing booth, the DVD is nearly here! Until then, here's a preview...

I get a nice close up at 2:09...also, the song gets quite intense around the 4:25 mark.

Enjoy!

Fortune?...

That pretty much sums it up...

I also came across this video of Darren King (drummer of MUTEMATH) having fun and making videos...he's by far my favorite drummer - uber creative and forward thinking. I had the tremendous opportunity to play with him in 2 projects this past year, so you've got to see this. Enjoy!

The Valley

A couple months ago I was humbled to play violin with Stacy DuPree (Eisley), Darren King (Mutemath), and Jeremy Larson, as we filmed a live DVD for a side project. It was an awesome opportunity and we all had a blast!

Here's a video of Stacy (in the middle) performing a stripped down version of The Valley (the title track of Eisley's newest album).

Enjoy!

An Amazing Show!

I'm humbled to have been able to play in Jeremy Larson's band along with Stacy DuPree (Eisley) and Darren King (MuteMath). Saturday night we played the Gillioz Theater to a sold out audience (1,200), and you could feel the anticipation and excitement in the room. I could go on and on, but I'll let the pics do the storytelling for now...

Peace,
Ross

p.s. THANKS SO MUCH to all of the friend & family that made the 3 hour trek to come support the music/show/me!

They Reappear

I know it probably seems like I've had a ton of promotional posts recently, but I've got an album coming out in a week, and a really big show this weekend. So I apologize (sort of) for my excitement.

If you are within roadtrip mileage of Springfield, MO, then you need to make it to the Gillioz Theatre this Saturday for the Jeremy Larson, Stacy DuPree (Eisley), & Darren King (MuteMath) show! It's free and starts at 7PM.

I'm stoked to be playing violin for the entire night!

I hope to see you there!

Peace,
Ross
