BEST OF 2012 {MUSIC}

Happy twenty-thirteen!

I thought it'd be fun (and part obligatory) to start 2013 by looking back at the best of 2012.  Today we'll look at music...only with the restriction that I had to have purchased a physical copy of the album.  That being said, here's my list (in no particular order):

Light Up (by Sucre)

Here's the newest installment from Sucre.  It's a beautiful song called, Light Up.  The vocal track was a "1 taker," and they were lucky enough to capture it in the video.  Enjoy!

Hiding Out (Sucre)

Here's the first LIVE video from Sucre. I had the opportunity a little over a year ago to play violin with Stacy, Jeremy, and Darren. It's an amazing sound (especially around the 1:18 mark :-). I think you'll like it!

When We Were Young

It's been almost a year since I played violin on the live DVD with Stacy DuPree (Eisley), Jeremy Larson, and Darren King (Mutemath). It was quite the experience! They're super talented, humble, and very generous folk. So, if you haven't heard of Sucre, you need to! Here's their first video:
