When do kids start dreaming?

I ask, because for the last couple of nights, Cora has joined us in the middle of the night in an awkward state of confusion and concern...

Tuesday Night: "Mommy, there's crickets in my bed!"
Wednesday Night: "Mommy, there's bugs crawling in my bed!"

I assure you, her bed is bug-free. She's coming in mostly asleep too. Is she dreaming?
